OUR PROGRAM

Welcome to a community where everything is at your child's level with lots of room to grow.  We use different centers to enhance our curriculum along with activities that follow our monthly themes with sustainable active hands-on learning.  We believe learning can never be too much fun with sand, seeds, sunshine, books, blocks, computers, paint, costumes, and drums because there are so much to discover and learn.  Your child will be involved in an exciting world of Center based exploration that includes:

Science / Sensory:  Here children explore basic science using simple materials and experiments.

Creative Arts:  Children can use their imaginations through self expression and creativity with various tools and materials.

Home Living / Dramatic Play:  Through the use of imagination and acting out daily life events, language and social skills are widened.

Blocks:  Size, shapes, and patterns are important concepts learned through block play.

Manipulatives:  From sorting, grouping, and counting to more advanced math skills, a good foundation is put in place for children through hands-on learning.

Books:  To encourage language skills, your "little reader" will be able to read or look at picture books in quiet area.

Computers:  Educational software provides children with another enjoyable way to strengthen reading and basic math skills as they learn computer basics.

Group Time:  Coming together for stories, songs, music, dance and other learning activities promotes listening, creativity, and social developments.

Outdoor Play:  Learning continues outdoors while studying nature and developing physically by climbing, sliding, running, and jumping.

Concepts such as phonics and math become progressively more advanced.  It is still child's play but our program builds in more structured learning.  Like building blocks, children master the foundation skills they will need to excel in their school years.  We will teach them essential reading, writing, math, science, art, and social skills in a logical natural sequence that encourages children to learn one step at a time.

Monthly themes, weekly topics, and daily activities keep the curriculum focused and fun.  Our strong literacy-based approach teaches reading readiness through our letter of the week, journal writing, music, rhymes, and stories.  Each month, themes will introduce key academic skills while encouraging children to explore and understand the world they live in.

Art, music, drama, and social interaction help each child explore creativity and build self-esteem.

Getting ready for school makes your child feel so cool.  From making up a joke to telling a story, sharing without being asked or reading simple words since pre-k years are the times when so much learning comes together.  Our program makes the most of your child's growing ability to focus and use language to retain important reading and math skills.

Each new accomplishment fills children with pride and the desire to learn more.  They realize, "I can do it."  Our program makes it easy and exciting to learn as well as builds confidence and prepares them for their next big journey of school and life.
